The TAP Housing Area provides two types of living options in Townhouses and Student Apartments.
There are 35 two-bedroom townhouses, each accommodating four residents. The townhouses include a living/dining room, full-sized kitchen, two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and full furnishings. This complex houses upperclass residents, and is the campus housing area most like an independent living situation.
The University Townhouses are located one-eighth of a mile from the Fairfax Campus on Chainbridge Rd. (Route 123).

Resident Responsibilities
- Contract independently with phone company for local and long-distance phone service.
- Contract independently with cable company for cable TV service.
- Contract independently with internet service provider.
- Provide own cleaning supplies, toilet paper, light bulbs, etc.
- Participation in a meal plan is optional.
- Uphold community standards, adhere to your Housing Agreement and the Guide to Pride: Resident Student Handbook.

The Student Apartments, renovated during Summer2002, are located in the TAP Area, and are composed of nine three-story buildings that house approximately 500 students in 118 apartments. One-, two-, and three-bedroom units are available. Each bedroom accommodates two students and is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and closet for each resident. The apartment is carpeted and contains a kitchenette, bathroom, and furnished living/dining area. Units are available to upperclass students.

- Local phone service (no hook-up fee or monthly charge).
- Individual voice-mail service for each resident.
- Telecommunications package (cable TV and internet access).
- Central air-conditioning and heating.

- Vacuum cleaners available at TAP Service Desk.
Resident Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within assigned room.
- Adhere to community standards, your Housing Agreement and the Guide to Pride: Resident Student Handbook.
- Pay for all long-distance phone calls.
- Provide own cleaning supplies (cleaner, toilet paper, etc.)
- Participation in a meal plan is optional.
