Do I have to have lived on campus at GMU to become a Resident Advisor?
A
Traditionally, we do ask that student have lived on campus in order to understand Residence Life and the role of a Resident Advisor. With this, we do understand that many transfer students come to George Mason with a wealth of knowledge about Residence Life from their prior institution. If a student can speak on their knowledge of Residence Life and the Resident Advisor position, we encourage them to apply, even without having lived at George Mason in prior semesters.
