Guide to Pride: Resident Student Handbook

George Mason University students are expected to abide by all federal, state, and local laws. Alleged violations of these laws will be referred to the appropriate court or law enforcement authority. Violations of applicable laws may also result in George Mason University action.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life is committed to providing you with the best environment possible to pursue your academic goals and develop a community within the residence halls.

The Guide to Pride: Resident Student Handbook is online as a PDF document. The Table of Contents provides links to topics in the Guide. All residents are provided a CD with a copy of the Guide to PRIDE upon check-in.

All George Mason University residents are expected to know and conduct themselves in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Housing & Dining Services Agreement. As a resident, it is your responsibility to know and abide by all University and Housing regulations. For more information regarding University Regulations, please refer to the Guide to PRIDE.

Violations of the University Judicial Code or Guide to PRIDE may be referred to the Office of Judicial Affairs for adjudication. Please refer to that office's website for information concerning the adjudication process. Appeals may be submitted through the Office of Judicial Affairs Appeals website.
