Parking Services designates areas for intern parking. Passes must be purchased prior to arrival to campus. Passes are available at a flat-rate fee of $100.00 and are valid for the duration of the summer.
If you plan on keeping your vehicle on campus while residing at George Mason this summer, you will need to purchase a parking permit. You can do this by going to https://gmu.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth_guest.aspx and logging in using the prefix of the email on your application (example: firstname.lastname@example.org would be “johnsmith”) and the password “Summerintern1”. Our system will ask for a mailing address, we ask that you please put your permanent address in that field, even though we will not be sending your permit there. All permits purchased online will be available for pick up in 1-2 business days from the neighborhood desk at Piedmont Hall. You will pay online ONLY with an electronic check, Visa, or Mastercard.
After purchasing your permit online, you will be able to print off a temporary permit that will allow you to begin parking immediately. This temporary permit is valid for up to 10 days from the time of purchase.
Your permit will be valid in all of George Mason’s general permit areas (colored in green here: http://parking.gmu.edu/pdf%20files/FairfaxMap12_Parking_Final.pdf), which includes the first two levels of the Rappahannock River Parking Deck designated as general parking located next to Northern Neck hall. Please note that your permit is not valid in the reserved or visitor areas of the Rappahannock River Parking Deck (gated areas or numbered spaces), faculty/staff Lot H, Reserved Lot I, Reserved Lot J, Reserved Lot R, Mason Pond Parking Deck, or the Shenandoah Parking Deck.
If you run into any problems purchasing your permit, please contact Ben Cave in the Parking Services Office at email@example.com. You may direct any other parking questions or concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org.
