First-Year Residential Learning Communities: The Mason Science Experience

The Mason Science Experience

Join the Mason Science Experience Residential Learning Community to explore the worlds of scientific inquiry, cutting-edge STEM research, and interdisciplinary, global problem solving.  Our community is your GPS for STEM success, demystifying the skills and experiences that are most sought-after by STEM professors, employers, and by graduate and medical programs. Explore 21st Century STEM professions, build early connections with top research faculty, and explore undergraduate research and internship opportunities at Mason and beyond.  Join your RLC friends on off-campus STEM Adventures and fun “stress buster” events, plan impactful citizen science challenges, and much more!

All majors are welcome.  Join an optional interest group and enjoy special programming for students exploring pre-health studies, or challenge yourself by joining our RISE Scholars program to build your own summer research project.  Through our one credit COS 100 course and immersive learning community activities, you will build a strong faculty network and life-long, meaningful friendships.
