Undergraduate Student Interns

 

Information Technology (IT) 

As an IT intern, you’ll work with Housing IT staff to meet Housing’s technology needs. Applications can be submitted through Handshake. At the moment, Housing is not hiring any IT interns. Positions will be posted as available, so please continue to check this page for updates. 

Desktop Support Specialist: Your primary responsibility will be maintaining desktop computers and peripherals for Housing. Other responsibilities includes re-imaging machines, installing local printers, updating software on work stations, and working with the Housing IT team to identify network or system outages.

Web Designer/Developer: You'll assist with design and development for Housing web sites and web-based applications. Projects may include developing or updating interactive components, developing new functions, working with staff on content layout, and developing new applications. This position is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

Marketing and Communications 

As a Marketing and Communications intern, you will work with Housing Marketing staff to create digital marketing centered around Housing processes and policies. At the moment, Housing is not hiring any marketing and communications interns. Positions will be posted as available, so please continue to check this page for updates. 

Social Media Intern: Your primary responsibility will be creating content for digital marketing campaigns that engage students and inform them on important processes, such as Move-in, the housing application process and closing, occurring in Housing. Students that are interested in being social media managers, building a brand and creating copy for digital marketing should apply. 

Graphic Design Intern: You will assist with digital and print design materials for the department. Students that are majoring in graphic design, have an interest in design or are comfortable using ADOBE suite are encouraged to apply.
