Residence Halls

Living on campus is a key part of the college experience. You'll feel a part of Mason Nation from the moment you hang your first poster. Join clubs, join social networks, join us. It will be an adventure you'll never forget.

A Place to Call Your Own

Mason has more than 40 residence halls, with selections ranging from traditional rooms to  suites to apartments; you'll be able to find a place that suits your style.

Most freshmen live in traditional rooms, although some live in suites. All upper-class students live in suite-style or apartment-style halls.

Our residences are grouped into three neighborhoods — Aquia, Rappahannock, and Shenandoah — and each is supported by professional and student staffers who make sure you'll have access to the resources you need to live the life you want.

Each neighborhood, as well as the Mason Global Center, also feature service desks, which are staffed 24/7.

In addition, Housing offers a number of amenities, such as free laundry, Wi-Fi, and cable (sorry, you have to provide your own TV).

Take a tour of our residence halls, and find your new home. You'll have walkable access to all that Mason has to offer.

Mason students play pool in the Hub

Campus residents can walk to The Corner Pocket in The Hub to enjoy pool, foosball, video games, air hockey, and board games, among many other other activities.
