The Honors College Upper-Level Residential Learning Community is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors within the Honors College. Students will have the chance to build a collaborative and close-knit community with their peers while participating in various activities.
Residents will have the option to participate in the sophomore or mixed upper-level track experience in the Honors RLC. Requirements for each group are outlined below.
Second year students who select the sophomore track will have the chance to return early in August to participate in welcome activities and programs designed to enhance their sophomore experience. Students in this cohort will also have access to specialized programs/trips during the academic year.
Sophomore Track (Second-Year) Requirements
- Participate in the early arrival program in August before the fall semester starts.
- Participate in a community service project in the fall and spring semesters.
- Participate in Sophomore September events, RLC workshops, social events, and off-campus excursions.
Mixed Upper-Level Track (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) Requirements
- Participate in the Honors RLC welcome event at the beginning of the fall semester.
- Participate in a community service project in the fall and spring semesters.
- Participate in RLC workshops, social events, and off-campus excursions.
