The Schar School’s UL Democracy Lab provides a community of students with the opportunity to engage with our faculty, university leaders, and experts from around the country in exploring how to improve trust in democratic institutions and build effective policies. The UL Democracy Lab puts a strong focus in understanding the benefits and drawbacks of different electoral reforms, and obstacles in their implementation. Students have access to a wide range of support, mentorship and opportunities, and they are expected to attend regular programming. This RLC sets a high bar for our students but works with them every step of the way to maximize their time at Mason and prepare for post-graduation success.
Students majoring within the Schar School will have preference though all students who are interested in joining are welcome to apply!
